Izzy began pursuing her passion for comedy more seriously when she first took up improv in 2022. She branched out and created her own live sketch comedy show called It’s Not a Phase. She tried stand-up comedy, studied at The Groundlings, and performed at UCB, opening for comedians like Mekki Leeper and Connor Wood. She continues to learn and grow as a multi-hyphenated comedian.

Improv

Izzy’s first time ever doing stand-up was in 2025. She did a tight five for her stand-up class led by SNL writer alumni Hugh Fink.

Improv

Izzy’s first time performing a sketch solo! She performed a five-minute monologue that was written and performed by her.

This was the first time Izzy ever did sketch comedy, let alone run an entire show. But she produced and directed an hour long live comedy show with 10 various sketches and multiple players.
